some of my embroiderers have been working on these shawls very slowly, and have finally finished these exceptional pieces. their work is very finely detailed, with complex miniaturised flowers and traditional paisley.

main: bright pink jali shawl, all over embroidered with complex flowers of many different kinds, using a variety of blue, teal, turquoise and hyacinth, as well as pale pinks, olive and chartreuse., also a beautifully edged border – light and a dream to wear for all its intricate work.

as a pompom: the shawl of 1,000 flowers! wonderful dark blue jamawar shawl intricately embroidered with tiny flowers in pale lilac and light turquoise, edged silvery white.
