main: a natural undyed shawl, exquisitely embroidered in many colours with broad stripes of beautiful flowers.
top pompom: very pretty undyed natural and white striped shawl. the white stripes are intricately embroidered with tiny running flowers using rose, silver and olive.
bottom pompom: two shades of rose pink skilfully woven, the paler pink stripe embroidered in beautiful lilacs and a little orange – just gorgeous.

jali means literally ‘a net’, which carries the sense of a fine cloth that one can see the light through, rather like a stained glass window.
